Beadweaving is the art of stitching   beads together with a needle and thread to create self supporting work that can be use to create sculpture and jewellery.   It is an ancient craft that dates back   over 5,000 years.

 

Keeping this beadweaving tradition alive is a passion of mine, from researching and recording historical works to teaching its techniques so it can be passed on to the next generation.
